Randers is full of sights which deserve a closer investigation. You can visit them on your own or on guided tours.

In Randers, you can choose guided tours in a carriage drawn by two horses. At the same time, you may listen to interesting accounts of kings and squires, merchants and craftsmen and about modern life in town. You can also take the vintage train running along Randers Fjord between the Randers Rainforest and Allingåbro city.

The tour can be planned according to your interests and is an obvious idea for group excursions.

DSB Museumstog

Veteran trains runs steam trains weekly throughout July and August between Randers and Allingåbro. A special Christmas train runs in December, with departure from Randers Rain Forest. Tickets are sold onboard. Contact Randers Tourist Office for timetable.

By ferry over Randers Fjord

See the beautiful scenery of Randers Fjord from the water on one of the two small ferries plying between Udbyhøj and Mellerup-Voer. The ferry between Mellerup-Voer is one of the smallest in Denmark. The cable ferry running between the two halves of Udbyhøj is the only one in Denmark.
