The Star Route

Follow the stars through Randers town centre

The Star Route is a guided walk through the old part of this historic town following 15 plaques strategically placed to mark cultural and historical places of interest, all linked by smaller stars.

The route is 2.5 km long, is accessible to the handicapped and runs along the pavement and pedestrian streets in a circuit, which means you an start and finish wherever you want to.


The route leads you past Randers Rain Forest, the Kulturhistorisk Museum (history museum) and Randers Kunstmuseum (art museum), the oldest pedestrian street in Denmark at Houmeden, Den Jyske Hingst (the Jutland stallion) and much more... Walk along the cobbled and winding streets, take a look at the old timber frame houses and soak up the atmospheric setting for modern urban life. The Medieval town centre provides a historical backdrop to a modern and bustling market town all encompassed in a walk along the Star Route.
